Alex Velasquez

Alex Velasquez possesses over 16 years of extensive experience in mechanical and structural engineering, specializing in non-destructive testing (NDT) methodologies including UT shear wave inspection, Phase Array, TOFD, MFE, LFET, MT, PT, and LRUT/SRUT. Serving as a Senior NDT Inspector and Metallurgical Engineer at TechCorr USA, LLC since January 2003, Alex has played a pivotal role in planning, organization, implementation, and reporting for various global projects. Prior to this role, Alex was a General Manager at Material Test Engineering Ltda from January 2000 to December 2008, leading NDT projects and engineering teams across various locations. Alex holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering with a focus on Advanced NDT Inspections from Universidad Libre, completed between 1992 and 1998.
