Umair Tariq

Umair Tariq has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Software + Web Developer at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Center, where they developed a laboratory automation system and integrated pathology machines. In 2011, they joined Looptex as an IT Manager, responsible for managing all IT operations, developing software and websites, and managing the POS system. From 2017 to 2020, Umair worked at PureLogics as a Project Manager, overseeing multiple teams, ensuring project delivery on time, managing ISO 9001 certification documentation, and conducting risk analysis. Most recently, since 2020, they have taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer at TechNerds.Com.

Umair Tariq completed their matriculation in computer science from Unique High School in the years 2003 to 2005. Umair then pursued a BCS degree in software engineering from Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) from 2007 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Umair obtained an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) and an International Scrum Master (ISM) certification from the International Scrum Assembly™ in May 2019. Umair also obtained a PMS (Performance Management System) certification from LOOPTEX in December 2014.
