Solomon Ko

Solomon Ko is a Senior Engineer at Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA) since October 1998, focusing on the regulation of various fuels and approval of fuel-burning appliances. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Canadian Standards Association from September 1991 to September 1998, overseeing oil and gas programs and pipeline components, and holding the position of Engineer/Manager at Shell Group from September 1976 to January 1991, where responsibilities included the design and maintenance of marine tankers and distribution facilities. Solomon Ko began a career in engineering as a Mechanic Apprentice at the Electrical & Mechanical Office, Public Works Department from September 1966 to September 1971. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London, a Diploma in Management Studies from Hong Kong Management Association, a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from ACCA, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong.
