Basit Nawaz

Basit Nawaz is an electrical engineer who currently works for Technical Team. Basit has previous experience working for Redco International Trading & Contracting w.l.l., where they served as a technical/design engineer. In this role, they were responsible for evaluating and resolving technical problems at different phases of the project, as well as supervising subcontractor and supplier work to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements. Basit also has experience in designing and selecting equipment such as central battery systems, UPS systems, fire alarm systems, lighting control systems, transformers, generators, switchboards, panel boards, lighting fixtures, and wiring devices. Additionally, Basit has experience in negotiating with suppliers and purchasing items at optimum cost, as well as preparing material submittals for approval from clients and consultants. Basit is also experienced in estimating load schedules at LV-Panel, MDB, SMDB & Final DB level, as well as voltage-drop calculation, short circuit calculations, and cable selection.

Basit Nawaz has a degree in electrical engineering from Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology. Basit also has an FSc in mathematics and physics from Government Degree College Lahore - Swabi. Basit has a Secondary School Certificate in engineering from Pasban Model School - Thand Koi - Swabi. Basit is also certified from the Saudi Council of Engineers and the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a registered engineer.

They work with Bilal Al Masri - Senior ICT Engineer, Ahmad Akkawi - Electrical Engineer, and Waleed Halima - Senior Electrical Engineer. Basit Nawaz reports to Mohammed Ghawanma, Electrical Team Leader.
