Tom Kontogiannis is a seasoned academic and consultant specializing in Human Factors and Safety. Presently a Professor at the Technical University of Crete since January 1996, Tom has extensive experience in the field, having previously served as a Consultant in Human Reliability and Safety at Human Reliability Associates from January 1990 to December 1995. Tom's educational background includes a PhD in Training of Process Control Skills and Instructional Technologies from Loughborough University of Technology, an MSc in Ergonomics from University College London, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Aristotele University of Thessaloniki.
