Markus Waechter

Markus Waechter currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Education & Research at Technische Universität München Asia, a position held since April 2005. Previous roles include Corporate Director at TUMCREATE and CEO & Corporate Director at TUM CREATE from July 2010 to September 2011. Markus Waechter has also held academic positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from March 2009 to March 2012. Early in the career, Markus Waechter was a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore and a Research Assistant at Technische Universität München. Educational qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics, both from Technical University of Munich.
