Lucie Charvatova is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in political advisory and research roles. Since January 2019, Lucie has served as an Advisor to councillor at Prague City Hall and as a Researcher for the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic on the TAČR project concerning directly elected mayors. Concurrently, Lucie has held the position of Lead researcher at Charles University in Prague's GAUK project focused on political control and bureaucratic autonomy since March 2018. Previous experience includes acting as an Advisor to the deputy mayor of Prague from March 2015 to November 2018, and providing assistance in the European Parliament office of Frank Schwalba-Hoth from September 2012 to December 2013, along with a traineeship under MEP Libor Roucek. Lucie's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and Government from Charles University, a Master's degree with Distinction in Political Science from Université libre de Bruxelles, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Anglo-American University, Prague, enhanced by an exchange program in European Studies at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences.
