Michio Hirai

Michio Hirai is a seasoned professional in the aerospace and technology sectors, currently serving as a Project Delivery Manager at Technology Evaluation Centers since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as Technical Support Staff at CAE, Technical Representative at Famic Technologies Inc., and President of the Japanese Canadian Culture Centre of Montreal. Michio has participated in significant internships at various esteemed organizations such as the European Space Agency, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), MDA, Pratt & Whitney Canada, and the Canadian Space Agency, focusing on areas such as space debris observation, mechanical design, and satellite technologies. Academically, Michio holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from École de technologie supérieure and a Master's degree in Space Studies from International Space University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma of College Studies in Pure and Applied Science.
