Fred Andy

Fred Andy is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning various industries. Currently serving as an Instructor at Technology Transfer Services, Fred specializes in providing safety training in the industrial sector. As the lead singer for the local band OGR and previously for "Bad Influence," Fred has maintained an active presence in the music scene. Fred is also an independent author, known for the Horror/Fantasy novella "The Sixth Sword." Past roles include Project Manager and Sr. Process Improvement Analyst at Newport News Shipbuilding, where Fred contributed to engineering change packages for Navy carriers, and Human Resource Business Partner, focusing on talent acquisition and recruitment of military veterans. Fred's extensive experience in program management began at Kelly Services, ultimately overseeing nationwide operations, while earlier military service included positions in the US Navy where Fred managed chemistry and radiological controls. Fred holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Troy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Excelsior University.
