Tom Edlund

Tom Edlund is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading innovation and product development in various roles. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at TechsoMed since November 2020, Tom focuses on transforming Thermal Ablation Therapy for Cancer, contributing with expertise in Computer Vision and Deep Learning. Previously, Tom held the position of Chief Technology Officer at BriefCam from February 2011 to November 2020, where responsibilities included managing a team of data scientists and driving research and technology adoption. Earlier roles at BriefCam included Vice President of R&D and Director of Software Engineering, focusing on algorithm development and product management. Prior to BriefCam, Tom was Chief Development Officer at MindArk PE AB, overseeing the creation of a 3D virtual platform and leading a substantial R&D department. Tom's career began as a Software Engineer at Modo Paper R&D. Tom holds two Master of Science degrees from Chalmers University of Technology, one in Project Management and another in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics.
