Jim McCusker

Jim McCusker is a Principal Geologist at Teck Resources Limited, with over 13 years of experience in project generation and exploration across various regions, including the Western Tethys, Turkiye, and the Balkans. Notable roles have included leading exploration programs at the Red Dog Mine and overseeing development projects at the Elk Valley Met Coal Mine, where best practices and contractor management were emphasized. Previous positions include significant contributions to the Kapan Au-Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag mine, Jabal Sayid and Jabal Shayban VMS projects, and numerous exploration initiatives within Australia and China. Jim McCusker holds degrees in Earth Resources Geology and Geology from Imperial College London and the Royal School of Mines.
