Randy Watts

Randy Watts has a diverse and extensive work experience. Randy currently holds the position of Director of Product at Tedder Industries, overseeing product development. Prior to this role, they worked as a Product Designer/Manager for the same company.

Before joining Tedder Industries, Randy had a long career in law enforcement. Randy served in various roles at Spokane County Sheriff's Office, starting as a Law Enforcement Officer and working their way up to Detective and Sergeant.

Additionally, Randy has experience working for the U.S. Department of Justice as a Senior Police Advisor, providing specialized training and advisory services to host nations. Randy also worked at MSA Security as a Hostile Surveillance Specialist, analyzing potential threats and monitoring critical surveillance areas.

Earlier in their career, Randy served in the United States Department of Defense as a Survive / Evade / Resist / Escape (SERE) Instructor, providing comprehensive instruction for SERE courses. Randy also served in the US Navy as an Aviation Search and Rescue Swimmer, where they gained expertise in managing SAR programs and delivering training.

Randy Watts obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Workforce Education and Training Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2010. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Organizational Leadership from National University, completing it in 2016.

In addition to their academic achievements, Randy also holds a variety of certifications. Randy obtained certifications such as the Executive Leadership Institute and Command Leadership Institute from FBI-LEEDA in 2022. In 2021, they obtained certifications in the Incident Command System (ICS) from FEMA, including ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 300, ICS 400, ICS 700, and ICS 800. Randy also obtained the Senior Police Advisor certification from the U.S. Department of Justice in 2021. Prior to these, Randy acquired various certifications related to law enforcement and emergency response, such as Hostage Negotiator, Field Training Officer, Reality Based Training Instructor, Swift Water Rescue Technician, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Public Safety/Rescue Diver, EMT, Master Training Specialist, Advanced Rescue Swimmer, Naval Aviation SAR Swimmer Instructor, and Navy Training Instructor.
