Laura Sardon Puig

Laura Sardon Puig is a program manager and communications officer at Karolinska Institutet for the Strategic Research Area Neuroscience (StratNeuro) and project manager for NeurotechEU, an alliance focused on building excellence in brain research and technologies. Additionally, Laura serves as a communications specialist for TEDxStockholm, contributing to the development of the social media strategy. Laura's previous experience includes roles as a freelance writer, research scientist, and PhD student, with a focus on chromatin structure, metabolic processes, and CRISPR-based antivirals. Laura holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Universitat de Barcelona. Further education includes a course in Clinical Trials in Medicine at the University of Gothenburg.
