Ishara Perera

Ishara Perera currently serves as the Manager of Group Sustainability at Teejay Group, a position held since February 2021, following a role as Assistant Manager of Sustainability. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Engineer-Sustainability at MAS Holdings from June 2017 to February 2021, and as Assistant Production Engineer at DSI Samson Group - Sri Lanka for six months in 2017. Ishara began professional training at Ceylon Petroleum Corporation in the refinery division and completed an initial training experience at Trischel Fabric Private Ltd, where insights into industry administration and sustainable projects were gained. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Environmental Pollution Control Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Process Engineering, both from the University of Peradeniya, along with a high school diploma in Mathematics from St. Joseph's College, Kegalle.
