Barney Houghton

Barney Houghton is an experienced professional in commercial tanker operations, currently serving as a Voyage Manager at Teekay since October 2019, focusing on pre and post fixture operations for Suezmax, Aframax, and LR2 tankers. Prior to this role, Barney worked as a Vessel Operator at Latsco Marine Management from August 2014 to October 2019, managing similar pre and post fixture operations for VLGC, LR2, and MR vessels. Barney holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Finance from Oxford Brookes University, completed in 2014, and has also achieved qualifications through the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers and attended Truro and Penwith College.
