CFO Organization - Global Projects at Teijin

Reinhold Zimmermann has extensive work experience in finance and corporate management. Reinhold is currently working at Teijin as part of the CFO organization, overseeing global projects. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Performance Management at Bayer Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2018, Reinhold worked at Bayer AG, where they held the role of Corporate Finance - Head of Region Europe & North America. In this position, they were responsible for treasury-related support to country CFOs, including financing, equity measures, and bank relationships. Reinhold also played a key role in designing and executing treasury aspects for numerous M&A projects.

From 2014 to 2015, Reinhold served as the Corporate Finance - Region Coordinator APAC, providing treasury support to country CFOs in the Asia-Pacific region. Reinhold was responsible for financing, equity measures, share buy-backs, and fund repatriations. During this time, they also played a leading role in various M&A projects.

From 2012 to 2014, Reinhold held the position of Corporate Finance - Region Coordinator RoW at Bayer AG, where they provided treasury support to country CFOs in CIS, South-east Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Their responsibilities included financing, equity measures, bank relationships, and sanctions compliance. Reinhold also developed and implemented financing and liquidity measures for crisis countries.

Prior to their roles at Bayer AG, Reinhold worked at Bayer Holding Ltd. in various capacities. Reinhold served as Head of Accounting - Bayer in Japan from 2012 to 2012 and Head of Accounting - Bayer HealthCare Japan from 2010 to 2012. Before that, they held the position of Head of Management Consulting from 2008 to 2010 and worked as a Corporate Auditor from 2003 to 2007.

Reinhold began their career at Bayer AG as a trainee in the 'Marketing & International Business Studies' Program from 2001 to 2003.

Reinhold Zimmermann completed an MBA in F&A at IE Business School from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Controlling and Marketing, called Kaufmann, at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management from 2001 to 2004.
