Filipa Martins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in communications and writing. Filipa started their career as a journalist at Imagens de Marca - SIC Notícias in 2008. Filipa then worked as a director at Briefing Newspaper in 2009. Martins later became the politics editor at Jornal i from 2010 to 2011. Filipa served as an advisor to the XIX Constitutional Government of Portugal - Ministry of Culture from 2011 to 2013. Martins then worked as a freelance communications consultant in 2013 before joining TEKEVER as the head of communication from 2014 to 2016. Filipa also held the role of literary columnist at NiT New in Town from 2014 to 2020. Martins continued their career at CEiiA // Centre of Engineering and Product Development as a communication advisor from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are the head of communications at TEKEVER.
Filipa Martins is currently a PhD student at NOVA FCSH, specializing in Portuguese Studies. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's Degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Escola Superior de Comunicação Social in 2004. From 2008 to 2010, they attended Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas, where they studied Political Science and Government.
