Pedro Rodrigues

Pedro Rodrigues began their professional career in 2001 as the AOCS Team Coordinator at the SSETI Association, where they managed a team of up to 40 people and contributed to the design and development of the AOCS for ESA's SSETI-ESEO satellite project. Pedro also served as the vice-president of the SSETI Association and was involved in creating new student space projects and knowledge transfer processes. In 2006, Rodrigues worked as a Digital Systems Assistant at the Instituto Superior Técnico. In 2008, they joined the European Southern Observatory as an Electronics Engineer, where they redesigned electronic boards and performed electronic maintenance for optical telescopes, including the VLTs. Currently, Rodrigues is the Space Business Development Director at Tekever, where they are responsible for business planning, project management, and strategic analysis in the small satellite platforms and space communication systems fields.

Pedro Rodrigues has a Master's degree in Electrical and Computing Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they hold a certification in "New Space Economy: Technologies, Products, Services, and Business Models" from MIT Professional Education, earned in 2023.
