Teza Mukkavilli

Teza Mukkavilli serves as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Tekion Corp since August 2024 and is a Founding Member of BayAreaCISO. Mukkavilli previously held the CIO/CISO role at ChargePoint, contributing to information security, privacy, global IT, and quality compliance. Prior experience includes positions as Risk and Governance Officer at Facebook, Head of Information Security at The RealReal, and Director of Information Security at Upwork, where Mukkavilli achieved SOC2 Type 2 certification and established SOX controls in support of an IPO. Earlier roles also include senior management positions at PayPal and American Express, along with experience at Citigroup in global network operations. Mukkavilli holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from SMU Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
