Maria Pia Bastos Tigre Buchheim

Maria Pia Bastos Tigre Buchheim has extensive experience in law and governance, currently serving as a member of the Ethical and Research Committee at Instituto Estadual do Cérebro Paulo Niemeyer since February 2023. As a founding partner at Trilho Gestão e Consultoria and an active member of the Fiscal Council and Governance Chair at EO Rio de Janeiro since March 2018, Maria Pia also holds notable positions with CBMA as a member of the Mediation Board and with Tekno Kroma on the Board of Directors. Additional roles include voluntary membership on the Administration Council of ABBR and a long-standing partnership at Bastos-Tigre, Coelho da Rocha, Lopes e Freitas Advogados since 1997. Previously, Maria Pia served as the Honorary Consul of Jamaica from 2006 to 2021. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Candido Mendes, a Master of Laws (LLM) from Ibmec, and Executive Education from Harvard Law School, supplemented by mediation training at the Centro Brasileiro de Mediação e Arbitragem.
