Jorge Arenas

Jorge A. is an experienced copywriter currently working at Open Data Science Conference (ODSC) since February 2022, where responsibilities include creating ad copy, blog posts, and managing email campaigns. Prior experience includes a role at Trellis Advisors, where Jorge A. led direct response copywriting and managed multiple campaigns weekly. As the Governmental Affairs/Communications Director for the Greater El Paso Association of REALTORS® from 2016 to 2021, extensive collaboration with public officials and the development of Economic Area Reports was undertaken. Jorge A. has also managed multi-state campaigns for a non-profit civil rights organization and has engaged in various political and community initiatives, including intern positions with Senator Mary Kay Papen and Congressman Steve Pearce. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from New Mexico State University and an Associate of Arts from El Paso Community College.
