Jen Havens

Jen Havens began their work experience in 2006 as an Elementary School Teacher at Williamson County Schools. In 2011, they transitioned to K12, where they worked as an Academic Administrator until 2018 when they became the Head of School. In 2020, they joined Telamon Corporation as the Head Start Director for Telamon TRC in TN.

Jen Havens has a diverse education history. In 2017, they attended Carson-Newman University, where they pursued a program in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Belmont University, completing their studies from 2005 to 2006. In 2002 to 2004, they also studied at Belmont University, focusing on Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Additionally, they hold an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of North Florida, which they obtained in 2000.

In terms of certifications, Jen Havens has achieved several credentials. In 2010, they became a National Board Certified Educator. Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications from the National Head Start Association. These include the Data Literacy Credential and Foundations of Storytelling with Data, both obtained in February 2023. Jen also received the Using Head Start Data certification in December 2022, and The Wonderful World of Data certification in August 2022.
