Walid Diwan

Walid Diwan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Walid began their career in 2010 with a summer internship at Mercedes Benz - German Auto Service Egypt. In 2011, they had internships at BMW CLUB EGYPT AUTO INNOVATION and Schlumberger, where they gained exposure to safety awareness and standards.

From 2012 to 2014, they completed two more summer internships with Consolidated Contractors International Company, where they focused on quality control and planning and progress monitoring. Walid then joined Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport as a part-time teacher engineer, teaching courses on computer-aided design and thermodynamics from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Walid worked as a procurement engineer at HCH Supply Co., where they reviewed technical issues, prepared commercial and technical quotations, and assisted customers with spare parts related queries.

Walid'snext role was as a mechanical site engineer at Consolidated Contractors International Company from 2018 to 2021, where they were responsible for various mechanical site engineering tasks.

In 2021, they transitioned to Capiter as an operations manager, overseeing operations until their recent move to Telda in 2022, where they continue to serve as an operations manager.

Walid Diwan holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, they received an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained from 1999 to 2008 at Alexandria House of English.
