Ben Duran Jr.

Ben Duran is the Managing Principal of Teled Analytic Solutions™, bringing over 20 years of strategic direction and predictive analytic experience to the company. He has provided risk management consulting, systems development management, and predictive modeling and strategy for a variety of clients and has presented on similar topics to clients, for his past employers, and at industry conferences.

Ben has fulfilled many roles and responsibilities over his tenure at companies such as FirstUSA Bank, Chevy Chase Bank, Dell Financial Services, and BillMeLater/PayPal. While at Austin Logistics Inc, Ben started as an Analyst and quickly began managing analytical client projects, providing analytic support, client communication, and delivery of final product. Over his six years there, he gained valuable experience working with a broad range of clients, from financial services to online retail. He made sure they each received exceptional customer support while providing comprehensive technical expertise.

Ben most recently came from BorrowersFirst, Inc, where he managed the development of a new online, installment loan platform for MarketPlace Lending. As Chief Risk Officer, he focused on creating the Credit and Fraud Risk controls for the company, while also helping to quickly drive strong revenue growth.

He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Mathematics from The University of Texas and an M.S. in Statistics from Texas Tech University.
