Hariet Mariani

Harriet Mariani's work experience includes various roles in different organizations. Hariet is currently working at Telekom Networks Malawi Limited as the Acting Chief HRO, a role they started in July 2023. Hariet previously served as the Head of Human Resources & Administration at the same company from April 2022 to July 2023.

Before their current position, Harriet worked at Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) Plc as the Head of Procurement from March 2020 to March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Director at Blantyre Sports Club from November 2017 to January 2021.

Harriet also held positions at Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM) Limited, where they served as the Manager of Procurement from October 2013 to February 2020.

Hariet gained experience at CRS - WALA Program as the Operations Manager from June 2011 to September 2013. In this role, they provided oversight in procurement, administration, and general services for a USAID funded program.

Earlier in their career, Harriet worked at UNDP Malawi as an Administrative Associate & Learning Manager from July 2007 to June 2011. Hariet also served as an Operations Analyst a.i. at UNDP Malawi from May 2008 to November 2009. In these roles, they were responsible for asset and transport management, facilities management, and cost efficiency initiatives.

Harriet started their career as a Project Assistant at UN Millennium Project from January 2006 to May 2007. Hariet also briefly worked as a Research Supervisor at Millennium Consulting Group from October 2005 to December 2005.

From 2021 to 2023, Harriet attended CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, pursuing an Advanced Diploma (Level 5) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.

In 2021, Harriet obtained a Certificate in Finance for Non Finance Managers from the Asian Institute of Management.

In 2017, Harriet obtained a Certificate in Certified Strategic Supply Chain Manager and Lean Six Sigma from the International Institute for Executive Training.

From 2009 to 2011, Harriet completed an MSc in Strategic Management from the University of Derby, UK.

In 2008, Harriet obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Columbia.

From 2005 to 2007, Harriet pursued a Graduate Diploma (Level 4) in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.

In 2006, Harriet completed the Foundation Stage of the Prince2 certification in Project Management.

From 2000 to 2004, Harriet attended the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, and obtained a BA degree in Public Administration.
