Aneta Borkowska is a Medical doctor and Engineer, PhD with extensive work experience in the healthcare and research fields. Aneta currently works as a Researcher at CEZAMAT since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the M. Sklodowska–Curie Memorial Cancer Center as a Physician and Researcher, PhD starting from March 2019. Aneta has also served as a Project Consultant at Telemedi - Digital Health Platform since September 2021.
In terms of research experience, Aneta has worked as a Research Investigator at Nanobiotix since April 2016. Aneta also co-founded OGEN S. A. in January 2017 and worked as the R&D Director. Furthermore, they co-founded genoomy in July 2014.
Aneta has been actively involved in teaching as well. Aneta worked as a Lecturer at Kozminski University, teaching Health Economics and Big Data Analytics since April 2021. Additionally, they conducted academic classes with students at the Medical University of Warsaw from January 2015 to June 2018.
Aneta's early career includes working at the Maria Sklodowska-Curie Memorial Cancer Center as a Resident Physician in radiotherapy from December 2013 to March 2019. Aneta also worked at the Hospice for terminally ill cancer patients from April 2017 to April 2021.
Throughout their career, Aneta has focused their research and clinical interests on sarcoma and melanoma, specifically on hand and foot melanoma. Aneta has conducted studies using immunohistochemistry, New Generation Sequencing of histopathological cuts, and Deep Learning of histopathological images.
Aneta Borkowska pursued their education with a strong focus on both medicine and engineering. From 2006 to 2012, they attended the Medical University of Warsaw, completing their studies with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. During the same period, from 2006 to 2010, they also studied at the Warsaw University of Technology, where they earned an Engineer's degree. Aneta'sfield of study in engineering specifically focused on Materials Science and Engineering.
