Thomas Oliver

Thomas Oliver is a software engineer currently at Telepathy Labs since July 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a data validator at PARASHIFT in early 2022, focusing on machine-learning document processing, and participation in an intensive data science bootcamp at Propulsion Academy Zürich where a final project involved creating a CNN deep learning model with the University of Freiburg. Thomas also contributed as a data specialist at Apple from April 2017 to March 2020, enhancing Apple Maps' data accuracy. Earlier positions include editorial journalism at VR-Zone.com and SIX-SIX News, freelance writing for ARIM Technologies and ExpatVoices, and an internship at Daily Express. Thomas holds a Master of Science in Applied Info and Data Science from Lucerne University, a Master’s in European Studies from KU Leuven, a Bachelor's in History from The University of Manchester, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the National University of Singapore.
