Carey Daughtry has extensive experience in museum education and management, currently serving as the Manager of Interpretation and Training at Telfair Museums since August 2019, where roles have included Tour and Docent Program Coordinator and Art Tour Coordinator. Daughtry has contributed to the Richmond Hill Historical Society and Museum as a Board Member, supporting the preservation of historical artifacts and community heritage. Previous experience includes CEO and Chief Instructor at Daughtry ATA Martial Arts, and Director of Martial Arts Adaptive Program at the Wounded Transition Battalion, where programs facilitated rehabilitation for soldiers. Daughtry has also held positions at the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, Telfair Museums, and completed an internship at the Museum of Fine Arts, Florida State University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Art History from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Florida State University.
