Michela Thalagala

Michela Thalagala is a Senior UX Designer at Telia since August 2022, with prior experience as Associate Technical Lead - UX at WSO2 and various roles including Senior UX Lead and Associate UX Lead at Dialog Axiata PLC. Michela has contributed to the #IamRemarkable initiative as a facilitator, empowering women and underrepresented groups to transparently discuss their achievements. Additionally, Michela served as a Women Techmakers Ambassador for the Sri Lankan Chapter, promoting visibility and resources for women in technology. Early career experience includes roles as a UI/UX Engineer and Software Development Engineer trainee at 99X Technology. Michela holds a BSc in Information Technology specialized in Software Engineering from SLIIT.
