Oliver Prescott

Oliver Prescott has over 17 years of professional experience in the IT industry. Oliver began their career in 2003 as a Software Developer at Flybe, then moved to EE in 2005 as a Solutions Architect. In 2006, they became a Lead Developer for a self-employed role, and in 2008 they were a Technical Lead for another self-employed role. In 2020, they were a Cloud Consultant at Gemba Advantage, and since 2021 they have been a Cloud Architect at Telicent. Prior to Telicent, Oliver was a Lead Cloud Architect at Archimage Solutions Ltd, where they were responsible for Cloud Adoption Strategy and architecting and leading delivery of bespoke AWS Landing Zone, including hybrid networking for high regulatory organization. Oliver also held the roles of Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, and Technical Design Authority at Archimage Solutions Ltd.

Oliver Prescott obtained a BSc 1st Class Honours in Computer Science from the University of Bath between 1997 and 2001. Since then, they have obtained numerous certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (2017), AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (2019), AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (2019 and 2021), AWS Certified Security – Specialty (2021), SME Professional (2022), and SME Specialty (2021). Oliver also has certifications from Oracle, including Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect (2013) and Oracle IT Architecture SOA 2013 Certified Architecture Specialist (2013).
