Tom Dobozy

Tom Dobozy has extensive experience in engineering and software development, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Tellabs since January 1999, where strategic leadership has been provided for product launches into Software Defined Networking and the implementation of Agile methodologies. Prior roles at Tellabs include Senior Manager of Software Engineering, overseeing the successful transformation of the GPON product line, and Manager of Software Engineering, focusing on software architecture and design. Prior experience includes serving as Software Manager at Reltec/Marconi, where Tom architected the Fiberstar product, and as a Lead Engineer at BT, responsible for developing an Intelligent Network infrastructure application. Tom Dobozy holds a Master of Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
