Tom Parisi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tom began their career at International Business Machines Corporation in 1993 as a Data Networking Engineer. Tom then moved on to Booz Allen Hamilton, where they worked as a Senior Consultant and Communications Systems Engineer. In 1996, they joined Tellabs as a Senior Sales Engineer, before transitioning to various roles within the company, including Executive Account Manager for Data and Optical Product Sales. In 2008, they became the Director of Federal Business Development at Tellabs, where they developed a solution-selling model and achieved double-digit growth. Currently, Tom serves as the Vice President of Federal Sales at Tellabs, leading a team of sales executives and engineers responsible for strategy and sales to the US Federal Government.
Tom Parisi attended Virginia Tech from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a BSEE degree. Tom later pursued their MBA in Marketing and Finance from The George Washington University, completing it between 1999 and 2001. Additionally, Tom participated in an Executive Education Program called "Leading the Effective Sales Force" at The Wharton School, although the specific dates are unknown.
