Abril Wendell

Abril Wendell has over 25 years of work experience in a variety of roles. Abril began their career in 1991 as an Associate at NYNEX Science & Technology. In 1993, they became a Consultant at Interleaf, where they captured user requirements and implemented software customizations of Interleaf's Document Management Software in Lisp for Fortune 500 Customers. In 1994, they became the Director of Program Management at Sapient. Abril then moved to Bridgewater Associates in 2008, where they were part of the Operations Management Team. In 2005, they started their own consulting business, providing management, business, and technology consulting for several small businesses in major transition. In 2010, they joined Publicis Sapient as the Director, Program Management, where they were an Agile coach for strategic initiatives at two of the top 20 largest Financial Services firms. In 2016, they joined Tellic as the Vice President of Operations, where they created and led all Internal Operations processes across HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and Branding with a continuous improvement approach. Abril also helped shape and evolve Strategy and Business Development, defined hiring, feedback, and bonus processes, developed a cash flow model, drafted Employee Handbook, Employee Agreements, Offer Letters, Phantom Stock agreements, MSAs, SOWs, and all other legal agreements, and created multiple engagement models and pitch decks to help grow the business.

Abril Wendell obtained a B.S. in Math, Computer Science, and a Minor in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1989 and 1993. In 2016, they obtained a Machine Learning certificate from Coursera, a Business Analytics specialization from Wharton Online, and a Data Visualization and Communication with Tableau certificate from Coursera. In 2019, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
