Kelsey Henry possesses extensive experience in education, support services, and reproductive health. Currently serving as an intern and doula apprentice at Maia Midwifery and Fertility since October 2015 and as a special education paraeducator with Renton School District, Kelsey has also held roles such as teaching assistant and residential assistant at Telluride Association, where guidance was provided to gifted high school students. Kelsey co-founded the Wesleyan Doula Project, the first university-affiliated doula collective in the U.S., and has organized multiple academic conferences at Wesleyan University. Research efforts include a significant honors thesis and ethnographic studies focusing on multi-generational experiences of racial interstitiality. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Wesleyan University.
