David Kapp has worked in various roles in the software engineering industry since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Customer Service and Account Support Representative at Fiserv. In 2007, they became a Networking Research Assistant at Colorado State University Department of Computer Science, where they developed software to analyze TCP/IP traffic and email security. In 2008, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Collective Intellect, working on a large Ruby on Rails social media website with an agile team. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, engineering custom software for a large dedicated system. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at Coshx Labs, doing software development, architecture, and testing using primarily Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and assorted databases. Finally, since 2015 they have been a Software Engineer at Telnyx.
David Kapp attended Colorado State University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Liberal Arts degree with a major in Asian Studies, Japanese, and History. David then attended Kansai Gaikokugo Daigaku from 2002 to 2003, where they earned a Program Certification in Japanese Language. Finally, they returned to Colorado State University from 2006 to 2008, where they earned an Applied Computing Technology degree with a major in Computer Science and Business.
