Karl Rishe Ed.d.

Karl Rishe, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Karl currently holds the position of Director | Client Relations at the Telos Institute, where they maintain client relationships. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Chief Leadership Facilitator at Wright | Rishe Leadership Consulting.

Karl has also held significant leadership roles in academia. Karl served as the Vice President for Student and Educational Services at Delta College, overseeing enrollment, recruitment, retention, crisis management, and student services. At Alma College, they held the position of Vice President for Student Affairs, responsible for retention, residence life, housing, crisis management, and student services. Karl also worked as the Dean of Students at Notre Dame College, where they oversaw student engagement, crisis management, housing and residence life, and counseling and wellness.

Earlier in their career, Karl worked at Case Western Reserve University as an Assistant Director of Residence Life and Coordinator of First Year Education. Karl also served as a Living Center Director at Grand Valley State University and a Hall Director at Ashland University.

Throughout their career, Karl has demonstrated expertise in organizational leadership, development, and human capital management. Karl'sexperience spans various aspects of higher education administration, with a focus on student affairs and student support.

Karl Rishe Ed.D. obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Saginaw Valley State University in the years 1997 to 2002. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration at The University of Akron from 2002 to 2004. Continuing their education, they completed a Master of Science in Communication and Media Studies at Grand Valley State University between 2004 and 2006. Furthermore, they obtained another Master of Science degree in Communications from the same institution during the same period. Lastly, Karl Rishe Ed.D. achieved a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from The University of Akron spanning from 2007 to 2015.
