Ry Walker

Ry Walker has a diverse and successful work experience spanning several companies. Ry is currently the Founder and CEO of Tembo, Inc., a role they have held since November 2022. Ry is also the Managing Partner at Cincinnati Ventures, starting in the same year.

From 2006 to the present, Walker has been the Managing Director at AnotherVenture. Prior to this, they were the Founder and CEO of Astronomer, a company they co-founded in 2015 and served as CEO until 2019, then as CTO until 2021.

Before these ventures, Walker co-founded Differential in 2013. There, they served as the Co-Founder and Managing Director, helping build MVPs for equity for high potential startups.

Prior to Differential, they held the position of Chief Experience Officer at RecruitMilitary from 2008 to 2012, where they strategized to convert their technical infrastructure to a Ruby on Rails architecture.

Walker's work experience also includes being the Vice President of Technology at The Devine Group from 2003 to 2008, leading the technology team during a high-growth phase.

Ry'sentrepreneurial journey began in 1995 when they established Sharkbytes, Inc., one of the first web interactive agencies in the United States. Ry grew the company to $5 million in annual revenue, completing numerous website and web application development projects.

Ry Walker attended Liberty High School from 1986 to 1990 for their high school education. Afterward, from 1990 to 1992, they enrolled at the University of Cincinnati, where they pursued Computer Science. Following a gap in formal education, in 2015, they attended AngelPad, a Founder School Entrepreneurship program, and completed their degree as a Founder Alumni.
