Amanda Steele serves as a Governing Board Member for Tempe Union High School District since January 2023 and as President & Director of Communications for Epic Disability Advocacy since September 2021. With extensive experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant at Arizona Advanced Therapy since April 2015, Amanda helps teens and young adults with speech and language needs through home and community-based services. Additionally, Amanda has held leadership roles including Parent Leader at Raising Special Kids since August 2017 and Program Manager at The Arc of Tempe from October 2019 to September 2021, where program development and virtual transition initiatives were key achievements. Prior experience includes work at All In The Family LLC as a Child Development Foster Home provider and at Arizona Quality Providers in home and community-based services. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from Northern Arizona University and an Associate’s Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Phoenix.
