Meredith Fried

Meredith J Fried is an accomplished Executive Director at Temple Emanu-El since August 2019, with a robust background in event management and leadership cultivated during a 14-year tenure at EY. At EY, Meredith served in several key roles, including Associate Director of Americas Meetings & Events, overseeing a departmental budget exceeding $200 million and managing logistics for a $40 billion global organization. Accomplishments include implementing policies for global consistency, leading a team of over 35 professionals, and creating a charitable initiative that facilitated nearly 100 events. Earlier experience includes roles at The Westin New York at Times Square as a Catering Sales Manager, where Meredith received the “2005 Catering Individual Top Producer Award,” and a corporate sales management trainee position at Hyatt Regency San Francisco. Meredith graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Management from the University of Delaware in 2001.
