Marcus Turner

Marcus Turner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the supply chain and sourcing field. Marcus started their career at Dell in 2010 and 2011, where they worked as an Analyst and Senior Analyst, respectively. During this time, they gained experience in process evaluation, standard operating procedures, mergers and acquisitions, and value-streaming.

In 2012, Turner joined Lexmark International, Inc. as a Sourcing Analyst. Marcus completed analysis for business awards based on RFQ submissions and led cost analysis projects. Marcus later transitioned into the role of Project Manager, where they aided in developing a global obsolescence process and executing tactical work to change product status.

In 2013, Turner became a Product Lifecycle Manager at Lexmark and was responsible for worldwide supply planning and collaborating with demand teams. In 2014, they were promoted to Global Commodity Manager, where they developed and executed sourcing strategies and led strategic initiatives resulting in significant cost savings.

Turner's most recent position is with Tempur Sealy International, where they have held various roles since 2016. Marcus started as a Program Manager, establishing processes and leading teams responsible for sourcing-centric projects and cost savings. Marcus then progressed to the position of Global Category Manager, where they delivered substantial cost savings through sourcing strategy execution and managed RFP processes. Currently, Turner serves as the Director of Sourcing, overseeing the procurement and supply planning functions.
