John Axerio-Cilies is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and medical imaging. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of AI Apps Engineering at Tempus AI, John oversees Engineering and Product within the AI applications business unit. Previously, John held the role of Chief Executive Officer at Arterys, driving the development of AI-powered clinical applications in medical imaging prior to its acquisition by Tempus. John's career spans various engineering disciplines and leadership roles, beginning with a PhD in Flow Physics and Computational Engineering from Stanford University. Additional educational credentials include an MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University and a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
