Lian Zhu

Lian Zhu is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience across various technology sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Tenable, Lian Zhu leads global engineering teams focused on software product delivery, observability, cloud infrastructure, and product reliability, while fostering an inclusive culture. Previously, Lian Zhu held the position of Director of Engineering for Site Reliability Engineering at Verizon, where strategic development for digital and customer care applications was prioritized. Earlier roles include Director of Engineering at Ada Inc., responsible for AI/ML infrastructure, and Director of Engineering at Vox Media, overseeing cloud platforms. Lian Zhu's career began at Qualcomm with positions in cloud infrastructure and enterprise architecture, and a foundational role at RIM in systems engineering for BlackBerry services. Lian Zhu earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Shanghai University.
