Vela Georgiev

Vela Georgiev is currently the COO & Operating Partner at Tenacious Ventures, a dedicated agrifood tech VC firm in Australia. Vela also serves as the Acting COO at The Ops Collective, a venture capital fund operations platform, and as a Non-Executive Director at Western BACE, a community business hub in Melbourne's West. Additionally, Vela is the Founder of HardworX, which provides operational support to growth-stage startups and SMEs. Vela has a diverse background in engineering, project management, and leadership, with experience in roles such as Interim Engineering & Supply Chain Manager, Research Engineer, and Operations Manager. Vela holds a Master's Degree in Engineering and has received additional certifications in competitive systems, project management, and women's leadership.
