Bardha Varfaj

Bardha Varfaj, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Director of Clinical Development at Tenaya Therapeutics, bringing extensive experience in clinical development and hematology. Previously, Bardha held key positions at Astellas Gene Therapies, including Director of Clinical Development and Associate Director of Clinical Science/Clinical Development. Additional roles include Associate Director of Hematology/Development and Senior Hematology Manager at Cerus, as well as Manager of Global Scientific Affairs at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. Bardha's early career involved serving as an Assistant Specialist at the University of California, San Francisco. Bardha Varfaj earned both a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester.
