Ninghang Hu

Ninghang Hu, Ph.D., currently serves as Director of AI Solutions and Principal Data Scientist at Tencent, with additional involvement as Founder of a hobby project since November 2023. Previously, Ninghang held the position of Engagement Manager and Principal Data Scientist at McKinsey & Company from March 2018 to October 2023, earning the Inspirational Leadership Award and Employee of the Year at the Netherlands office in 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Data Scientist in Machine Learning at Booking.com, where responsibilities included developing models for hotel price evaluation and personalized recommendations, and an internship focused on crowd tracking at TNO under the guidance of Dr. Henri Bouma. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Machine Learning and a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam, along with a visiting researcher experience at the University of California, Berkeley.
