Jamel Jones has eight years of work experience, beginning in 2012 as a Children Supervisor at Clevelands House Resort. In 2013, they worked as an Intern for the London Lightning and as a Marketing and Sales Assistant for Renuit Refacing. In 2015, they were a Brand Ambassador for CDN Entertainment. In 2017, they were a Customer Success Manager Intern for Sysomos. From 2018 to 2021, they were an Account Manager for Quarterback Transportation in Toronto, Cincinnati, and Atlanta. Currently, they are a Partnership Success Specialist for LifeWorks and will soon be an Account Manager for Tengiva.

Jamel Jones obtained a Diploma in Marketing from Fanshawe College between 2012 and 2014. Jamel then attended Fanshawe College from 2014 to 2015, studying Business Administrative Marketing without obtaining a degree. In 2016, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Relationship Marketing from George Brown College. Additionally, in March 2017, Jamel obtained a Critical Thinking certification from Lynda.com.
