Ian Watson

Ian Watson has extensive experience in construction administration, with a career spanning over two decades across various reputable organizations. Currently serving as Construction Administrator for the Tennessee Board of Regents since July 2015, Ian oversees state construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements while coordinating with institutions of higher learning. Previously, Ian held a similar role at East Tennessee State University from June 2007 to June 2015, where responsibilities included coordinating with departments and managing project stakeholders. Other positions include Construction Manager at ASD Consultants, Inc., and Construction Administrator roles at Chesney-Morales and Associates Architects/Planners, Inc., and Vaughn Construction, where project management and stakeholder communication were key responsibilities. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University, earned between 1992 and 1998.
