Shelby Vannoy currently serves as the Assistant Director of Public Policy at Tennessee Farm Bureau since July 2022, following previous positions such as Assistant Director of Advocacy and Engagement at ACEC Tennessee and Legislative Assistant at the Tennessee General Assembly. Vannoy possesses extensive experience in political affairs, having worked as a Political Affairs Coordinator at the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association and as Field Director for Randy Boyd for Governor. Early professional roles include student ambassador at the University of Tennessee at Martin and cashiers at Holt Family Farms, where an advocacy for agriculture was emphasized. Vannoy gained foundational experience as a Legislative Intern at the Tennessee General Assembly and continued developing policy skills during a Public Policy Internship at Tennessee Farm Bureau. Vannoy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business and Management from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
