Heather Anderson

Director, Talent Management at Tennessee Oncology

Heather Anderson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse range of work experience in talent management and development. Heather is currently the Director of Talent Management at Tennessee Oncology, where they lead the development and improvement of talent management processes. In their previous role as the Talent Development Manager, they were responsible for the design and management of the TO Leadership Academy, which successfully trained over 150 leaders. Prior to that, Heather held roles in talent management at Brookdale Senior Living Solutions and Acumen Solutions. Heather also has experience in training coordination at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP and in state and chapter relations at the National Society of Professional Engineers. Heather's experience also includes working as a Human Resource Development Consultant at Tech Assist, LLC.

Heather Anderson, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Masters degree in Human Resource and Organizational Development from The George Washington University. Heather also has a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from George Mason University and a BA in Archaeology from Old Dominion University. Along with their education, they have obtained several certifications, including SPHR and SHRM-SCP from HR Certification Institute and SHRM respectively. Heather is also certified in various facilitation and change management methodologies, including being a certified Fierce Conversations Facilitator and a Prosci Change Management Methodology practitioner. Heather continues to enhance their expertise by obtaining additional certifications, such as the Workplace Investigations Credential from SHRM and the Certified Predictive Index Analyst from Sweeney Associates, anticipated in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
