Allen Clare

Allen Clare has over 30 years of work experience in the energy industry. Allen is currently working at Tennessee Valley Authority as the Senior Vice President of Operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Power Operations Performance Improvement, Vice President of River & Resources Stewardship, Vice President of Hydro & Gas Operations, Vice President of Power Operations (Coal & Gas), and General Manager (Coal & Gas) at TVA. Before joining TVA, Allen worked at Duke Energy Corporation as the General Manager of the Midwest Regulated Fleet and previously as a General Manager. Allen also has experience working at Progress Energy as an Operations Superintendent and Maintenance Superintendent, as well as at Sithe Energies/Dynegy as a Maintenance Manager. Allen began their career in the US Navy as a Gas Turbine Engineer.

Allen Clare completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership from National University between 2021 and 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (E/MET) from Rochester Institute of Technology.
